My grandmother, Mary Louis Pinkard Harris was born in 1905 in Forney, Texas.  She was an amazing woman, a gifted psychic and one of the most pure loving souls I have ever met.  She passed away in March 2011 but occasionally comes back to help me whenever I really need her.

A few months after she passed, Granny came to see me.  I had been a little worried about “2012” and all of the prophecies that came with it. The Mayan calendar was about to expire — we were leaving behind the era of animals and entering the era of mankind. A time when humans are supposed to evolve, leaving behind our animalistic natures and stepping up to the next higher level of spiritual evolution.  What kind of trials and tribulations must we endure to accomplish this?  And so this was my question for Granny.  But it was not the answer I expected.

I patiently waited until she finally appeared to me.  Surprisingly her husband, my PaPaw, came with her.  I say surprising, because during  the physical life he was not as spiritually inclined nor was he gifted like she was.  I could see it took a huge amount of effort for him to make the journey and it was a beautiful reunion for all of us.

He gave Granny the scroll he had brought from the Akashic Records, she took it and rolled it open across the table.  It  looked something like a map of the world but with different pathways, boxes and symbols.  I can only describe it as a cross between the Monopoly and Shoots & Ladders game boards.  I read the Akashic records several times a week, and to this day I have never seen anything like it.  

But looking at the future unfolded in front of me was not as strange as what came next.  She said, “Don’t worry about 2012”.  “The hard times, the difficult times for humanity will be 2020 to 2024”.   I was surprised, her answer made no sense to me at the time.  Well… I’m starting to understand it better now.  

The world is giving us circumstances to help us define and refine who we are.  There are those who will turn away from the light.  They will become more animalistic and selfish in their nature.  Seeing things in a way that only serves themselves at great cost to fundamental human dignity. 

And so it has begun, we are in the dividing time, the choosing time.  There is no more gray area.  More and more, everything is becoming black and white.  And so you must choose.  Choose who you will become, what kind of person you will evolve into during this life.   There are difficult times ahead, but as we go through the valley of shadows,  remember… we are here to shine as lights unto the world.  

So everyday my Lovelies, lead the way with love and kindness.  It is a choice you must make each day in your every word and deed.   Continue to love yourselves, healing and growing through grace into the most fully realized version of yourself.  And when the hard times, and sorrows come, stand up as a warrior, refuse the darkness, turn away from night, choose with me if you will — love, life and light.
