Happy New Year my Lovelies!
I would like to share with you my New Year’s Resolutions for 2021. Honestly, I have been using this same list for about seven years now. It originated from a podcast and blog article by Dr. Douglas James Cottrell. True story… I keep a copy taped inside the door of my medicine cabinet. It always seems to catch my eye when I need a nudge in the right direction.
These resolutions are seemingly small and simple but they give me a feeling of completeness and satisfaction – a feeling of at-one-ment. I hope you enjoy these New Year’s Resolutions, may they guide you on your path of personal growth and self discovery. For my darling Lovelies, I pray 2021 gives you all the best this life has to offer; health, wealth and peace of mind.
NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS
1. Do not gossip or speak negatively about others or yourself.
2. Meditate daily for well-being and self improvement.
3. Be more compassionate through patience and understanding; empathize.
4. Attempt to make someone happy they met you today.
5. Express your gratitude, appreciate the effort of others.
6. Do one nice thing for yourself each day. Be kind to yourself.
7. Once per year, travel someplace new.
8. Challenge yourself to do something, overcome an obstacle.
9. Make small changes with positive self-talk. (Do not discuss it with others)
10. Learn to say “NO”. Do not obligate yourself to things that others want or expect you to do.
